Mountain Air: Respiratory Sphere

This winter syrup is a hydro-glycerinated complex of needles from 3 conifers that grow in the mountains:

• The mountain pine, harvested in the Carpathians.
• The fir from the Vosges, in the Vosges massif on the land of our laboratory located in the heart of the forest.
• The Siberian fir, coming from the mountains bordering Lake Baikal in Siberia.

These trees have been used for millennia by the peoples of these mountains. They share their great resistance to harsh climates (extreme cold, wind) and have developed compounds that give them their interesting properties. In particular, polyphenolic antioxidants, monoterpenes, and aromatic compounds such as pinene, limonene, bornyl acetate, and camphene, as well as vitamins, mainly vitamin C.

Quality Requirements and Respect for Nature.

Phytonika Laboratory, true to its specialty, has decided to develop a highly concentrated hydro-glycerinated needle extract, extracted by cold pressing, to best extract the active principles of the plant without denaturing the product. The hydro-glycerinated extract has the advantages of alcoholic mother tincture by extracting compounds soluble both in water and fats without the disadvantages of alcohol.

The needles are directly harvested from the trees in the forest, without tearing off the branches and ensuring a reasoned collection, so as not to compromise the tree’s survival. The extraction is then carried out on the still fresh needles.

Moreover, regarding additives, true to its holistic philosophy of favoring natural harmony, Phytonika does not add any toxic preservatives. For example, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is preferred over recognized harmful benzoic or phosphoric acids.

Plant Concentration.

Another particularity of Phytonika is always to offer products with a very high plant concentration.

However, the price remains very reasonable, this being possible by eliminating unnecessary intermediaries, with the laboratory ensuring direct sales to the consumer.
